Today (11th April 2014) was a massive day for Cysticfibrosis Cavan (Cavan Cystic Fibrosis) & all PWCF as we had the official opening of the new Cystic Fibrosis Suite for out-patients in Cavan General Hospital . We would like to thank all our families & friends & every one that has helped our Branch get to this very special day. To-day you should all be proud of yourselves as life's will improve because of you all. Now on to Phase Two.
Flemmings Folly is one of the most Iconic historic buildings in County Cavan and was recently reopened to the public after a successful restoration project.
Now its your chance to Run/Walk the historic trail that starts in Ballinagh and follows an 8km route through some of most scenic countryside that Cavan has to offer, past the summit of "The Folly" and leading back to Ballinagh.
This route has everything from country roads to forest trails to scenic views, that really have to be seen to be believed
This Fun Run/Walk is in Aid of St Christopher's Hospice and Cavan Branch of Cystic Fibrosis

We have started training for Dublin marathon 2014.. Tues & thurs 6.30 breffni park. This is our third year & we are so proud & grateful that we have raised €100,000. We have our our-patients clinic up & running in cavan General. Help & support is still needed as we have in-patient adult & kids rooms to complete. St. Mogues College Students Climb Kilimanjaro
During the Summer one teacher and six students from St Mogue's College Bawnboy, Co. Cavan set their sights on climbing the highest peak on Kilimanjaro in seven days and succeeded in record time. They say "it was tough, but we enjoyed every minute of it".
