The Cavan branch is one of the 22 branches of The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI) which is a voluntary, no-profitable, charitable organisation.
CFAI was set up in 1963 to increase knowledge and awareness of CF and to give advice and support to people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.
Membership of the Cavan branch of CFAI currently stands at 35.
There are 28 PWCF in the branch - with 11 adult PWCF anf 17 paediatric CF.
CFAI, with approximately 1,500 members nationally, provides support and assistance to people with CF and their families.
