  • Today (11th April 2014) was a massive day for Cysticfibrosis Cavan & all PWCF as we had the official opening of the new Cystic Fibrosis Suite for out-patients in Cavan General Hospital . We would like to thank all our families & friends & every one that has helped our Branch get to this very special day. To-day you should all be proud of yourselves as live's will improve because of you all.

The Cavan branch is one of the 22 branches of The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI) which is a voluntary, no-profitable, charitable organisation.

CFAI was set up in 1963 to increase knowledge and awareness of CF and to give advice and support to people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families.

Membership of the Cavan branch of CFAI currently stands at 35.

There are 28 PWCF in the branch - with 11 adult PWCF anf 17 paediatric CF.

We use our website as a communication tool to keep our members informed of everything the branch is doing and all the events involving the Cystic Fibrosis Cavan Branch.
